acts as a resource for those interested in a career in pharmacoeconomics, results research, or pharmaceutical service design. In addition, the Society offers students the opportunity to observe orthopedic surgeons in the clinic and in the operating room. Unlike the first year, more students are now specializing in biological sciences (46.9%), followed by engineering (34.3%), computer science (9.4%), physical sciences (6.3%), and other fields (3.1%).Every week, JeffYES students travel to YES to create educational experiences for residents and volunteers.

Many students are not exposed to geriatrics until late in their schooling, which involves a set of considerations and concerns other than those of children and adults. The goal of Contra Costa College's S-STEM scholarship project is to graduate or transfer at least 80% of fellows to four-year institutions within three years. This group will help fill the gap in radiology education that currently exists at all Jefferson universities, in order to expose and encourage students to pursue a career in the radiological sciences, as well as to educate those not studying radiology about this field. The project offers two-year scholarships for four groups of 30 low-income, academically talented and financially disadvantaged students in biological sciences, computer science, engineering, mathematics and physical sciences. The purpose of the Jefferson Soccer Club is to bring together those interested in playing soccer and competing in the Philadelphia Professional Schools Football League outdoors and in the fall indoor pick-up games. This group will also help fill the gap in radiology education that currently exists at all Jefferson universities, exposing and encouraging students to pursue a career in the radiological sciences, as well as educating those not studying radiology about this field. The events will range from informal group races and virtual training classes to participation in organized races in and around the Philadelphia area. It also serves as a bridge between the iSchool and China to contribute to research, practice and education in Library Science and Science in a global context.
