Brentwood Green

A Park Grows in Brentwood

BSME is located in the heart of Brentwood at San Vicente and Bundy. Although the student population travels here from all over the city, we also have very strong ties with the surrounding community. 

With the support of the unique public/private partnership between Brentwood Green, LAUSD and the YMCA, our campus has been transformed into a park open to the neighborhood during non-school hours. Funding from the Anne and Kirk Douglas Playground Foundation helped provide several marvelous play structures. We also owe thanks to a grant from TreePeople and the Department of Water and Power for planting an additional eighty-eight trees all around the school.

We are indebted to all the parents and community members who worked so hard to make this dream come true.
